Plus, the Ksquared service stack is designed to work both concurrently and sequentially - so you can turn to us for help at a specific stage in your retrofit, or use all our services at once.

Pin point funding & asset review

SERVICE 01

Budgeting:

  • Helping you review your asset stock, and carry out data gap analysis.

  • Reviewing all the financial streams applicable to help offset the cost of your retrofit works, like SHDF, ECO4, GBI, HNES and more.

  • Handling the bid writing, grant application, submission and grant execution.

  • Shaping a decarbonisation strategy that’s tailored to existing budgets within assist management, capital planned programmes and stock condition surveys, over the lifecycle of the asset.

Programme & project management

SERVICE 02

Monitoring:

  • Performing progress reviews and reporting for funding providers, stakeholders and internal governance.

  • Creating project delivery strategies in line with your core aims, be it decarbonisation, heritage conservation, or community-led and social impact.

  • Aligning project delivery to asset management strategies, internal knowledge or resources, and capital works programmes.

  • Delivering procurement strategy, as well as risk analysis, due diligence and value-for-money assessments.

  • Carrying out information management, record of delivery, audit trails and handovers.

Architecture

SERVICE 03

Delivering:

  • Providing design team management from our ARB accredited staff.

  • Offering feasibility design studies, brief writing and encouraging community engagement.

  • Writing and submitting applications to local planning authorities, as well as obtaining listed building consent and leaseholder consent.

  • Ensuring golden thread competence and compliance, and observing the Building Safety Act 2022.

  • Leading as Principal Designers, in line with the Building Safety Act and Construction Design Management practices.

  • Providing contract administration and handling interim payments.

PAS2035 retrofit design & retrofit coordination

SERVICE 04

PAS2035:

  • Performing PAS2035 retrofit assessments and Improvement Option Evaluations (IOEs).

  • Delivering PAS2035 retrofit design and coordination, as well as Medium-term Implementation Plans (MTIPs).

  • Carrying out PAS2035 retrofit evaluations.

  • Handling industry supply chain engagement, compliance lodgement and handover processes
